The length that is available with the backseat folded down is impressive, I've been able to move very large rolled rugs, long boxes of playground equipment, a coat rack, and long fly fishing poles. Despite being a small-to-mid-size car, I've been able to move bookcases, desks, lawnmowers, stuffed easy chairs and bicycles. The backseat can be folded down to extend the hatchback's capabilities. I've found it can even hold a standard-size wheelbarrow.

The hatchback offers a lot of room for whatever you've got. There are a multitude of holders and pockets designed around the driver's seat, which is very convenient for whatever odds and ends I find in my car. The seat is comfortable and adjusts to fit a wide variety of preferences. It maintains alignment well despite the frequent potholes I encounter. (As for use, we use it for “commuting, transporting family, and having fun” can’t pick just one). The engine is well built, and the frame is solid. If I could improve it, I would add more ground clearance and selective four wheel drive with a conventional transfer case so I could flat tow it behind my motorhome. To sum it up, if they were still made, I’d buy a new one today. As such, I’ve taken it places in the mountains on steep (and I mean STEEP), narrow loose rock roads (most recently in Big Bend National Park and surrounding areas).
#2005 PONTIAC VIBE FOR SALE NEAR ME DRIVER#
It is still our daily driver plus it does double duty as our towed vehicle behind our motorhome. All accessories - power windows, door locks, AC, electronics, lights - work. Have replaced fog lights a couple of times (road debris takes them out). Headlight lense covers are weathering (originals). Paint is beginning to show its age (I hate base coat/clear coat give me acrylic enamel any day). Nose of hood is a rock magnet (the car has never been wrecked or had any body repairs or paint). Replaced valve cover gasket & O2 sensor at ~ 330,000 miles struts ~ 340,000 miles (yes, they were overdue!). Engine uses NO OIL (Valvoline 5w30) and tranny has given no problems. Have maintained consistent and regular 3,000 mile interval oil changes. We keep up with the miles using the trip odometer. It has ~ 350,000 miles on it (speedometer will only register 299999 miles).

This isn't a Firebird, but it will do.īought a 2006 Pontiac Vibe fwd, automatic new. I'm planning on repainting the Vibe, but I will continue with the Maroon color. Somebody has put tinting on the back window over the rear defroster, so I'm not bothering it. I have no idea what year model the Vibe is yet.

#2005 PONTIAC VIBE FOR SALE NEAR ME MANUAL#
I'm hoping to find an owners manual on e-bay. The AC and the heater works well in the Vibe also. My sister said they have driven the Vibe to Arkansas many times and it still performs well. I have the check written out and ready to purchase my first Pontiac. The Pontiac handled the rough I 20 very well. It does use more fuel than my Honda Accord though. I drove it to Fort Worth a week ago and I'm happy with its performance. The Poniac Vibe has plenty of get up and go. I have to park my 2002 Honda Accord from now on. I need something reliable to drive from Longview TX to Fort Worth TX many times. So I am buying my relatives Pontiac Vibe. Now my transmission in the Honda refuses to work on the highway. I drove my relatives Pontic Vibe while my 2002 Honda Accords transmission was being worked on.
